The vehicle was rented when a contract was signed between Malfix Rent a Car and the Renter. The person renting the vehicle must be at least 21 years old and have 2 years of driving experience. When picking up the vehicle, the customer must present a valid driver’s license and ID card (or passport). Fines and additional administrative penalties resulting from violations of any traffic law during the rental period are the sole responsibility of the RENTER. The rented vehicle may be used only for personal purposes and may not be rented or lent to a third party. The vehicle must not be overloaded with passengers or items beyond the allowed maximum weight. To leave the country, a written authorization issued by Malfix Rent a Car is required for border crossing.

The minimum rental period is one day (24 hours). At the end of the rental, Malfix Rent a Car provides an additional grace period of 60 minutes (1 hour) for the return of the vehicle after the agreed time, which is not charged. After 60 minutes (1 hour), the grace period expires, and the Renter will be charged for the entire following day. The Renter may change the return location and/or rental period only with the approval of Malfix Rent a Car.

Rental price does not include fuel costs or comprehensive (casco) insurance (which can be included).

The rented vehicle is insured against damage to third parties in accordance with the law, and the relevant documents are in the car. In case of damage to the rented vehicle, a police report is mandatory. In case of theft of the rented vehicle, a police report is also required. When reporting the theft, the user must have all the documentation (vehicle registration, rental agreement, etc.) and the original key. Comprehensive (casco) insurance does not cover damages to tires and rims, steering mechanisms, the oil pan, loss of keys, or damage to the interior of the vehicle. In case of key loss, the user (client) bears the cost of making new keys and replacing all locks on the rented vehicle.

Comprehensive insurance does not cover damage caused:

• If the vehicle was driven by a person not authorized by the rental agreement with Malfix Rent a Car d.o.o.

• By gross violations of traffic laws (reckless driving), running a red light, crossing a double solid line, overtaking in a tunnel, driving under the influence of alcohol or narcotics.

The client agrees to bear all potential costs arising from non-compliance with the above provisions.

• Insurance is valid only with a police report

• Insurance does not cover damage to tires and the oil pan

• Insurance is not valid if the vehicle was driven by a person not listed in the contract

• Insurance is not valid if the vehicle was driven under the influence of alcohol or drugs

• In case of dispute, the competent court is in Banja Luka
